We acknowledge that the land on which we live, gather, and work is the unceded territory of the Pocumtuc and Nipmuc peoples. We honor the Indigenous peoples who have stewarded this land for thousands of years, and continue to do so today. We recognize the ongoing impact of colonization, dispossession, and forced removal on Indigenous peoples, and commit to supporting their sovereignty, self-determination, and healing.

As a business operating on this land, we understand the importance of giving back to the Indigenous communities who have been impacted by historic and ongoing injustices. To show our commitment, Hoop & Bee annually donates a portion of profits to the Nipmuc Indian Development Corporation (NIDC), the 501(c)3 organization that supports cultural preservation for the Nipmuc people.

We encourage everyone to learn more about the history, culture, and current issues facing the Pocumtuc and Nipmuc peoples and other Indigenous communities in this area and beyond.
