Doll Dress Workshop with Piccolo Stitchworks

Class Description: Join Nicole of Piccolo Stitchworks for a hands-on sewing workshop focused on creating an adorable handmade doll dress! Choose from three sizes—18” (such as American Girl©), 13” (such as Hazel Village©), or 8” (Piccolo Farm Friends)—and learn techniques for working with small-scale patterns and fabrics.
During this three-hour workshop, you’ll cut out your pattern and fabric pieces, assemble the dress, and sew hook-and-loop tape for easy dressing. (If you prefer, you can bring snaps to hand-sew instead.) Along the way, you’ll pick up skills that transfer beautifully to miniature and full-sized garment sewing alike.
The cost of the class includes the original Piccolo Stitchworks Doll Dress Pattern in all three sizes, plus printed instructions and a digital PDF version with a full photo tutorial—so you can keep sewing at home and expand your doll’s wardrobe.
This class will run with 2+ participants. This is a class for ages 16+ or ages 8-15 accompanied by an adult.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used a sewing machine before or are feeling stressed or nervous about using one, please consider taking our Sewing Machine Confidence Builder prior to this class or get in touch for a private one-on-one lesson.

Class Registration
All Hoop & Bee classes require registration to ensure enough seats and equipment for everyone. If you have any questions or difficulty scheduling, please reach out and we’ll be happy to help during our regular daytime staffed hours, Monday - Friday from 10am-4pm.
This class will run with 2+ participants. If there are not enough participants, you will be contacted to shift your seat to another time/date this class is being offered.
NOTE: if you do not see any classes on the schedule, it means either all classes are currently full, or are not being offered at this time. If you would like to register for a waiting list OR request a class to be offered in the future, please contact us.
Before your first class, please review our Class Policies. Youth are welcome in this class upon request, but all participants should be 16+ unless approved by the instructor. Remember to only bring closed-top beverages to class! We are located on the second floor of Eastworks in Suite 209. We look forward to making with you!
